Ever heard of Shop Force 10" buffer?

Well I was planning on buying a PC 7424 as a christmas present for myself, but my aunt bought me a Shop Force 10" buffer. Anyone ever heard of this thing? It has random orbit, but only has one speed at 2,600 rpm. It came with one applicator pad and one buffing pad. Anyone know if you can buy attachments for this thing? I'm thinking about trying to get the receipt and just going and getting the pc 7424.

If it's what I'm thinking of, something like this:

Then you'd do well to return it and buy yourself a 7424. Those buffers are, at best, suited to remove wax. You couldn't do any real polish work with it and you're very limited with what pads/bonnets you can use. It was a nice gesture on your aunts part to buy you a car care gift, but tactfully explain that you had your heart set on another model.

Meijers carries them. In fact, a few weeks ago, they were on sale for $8.99 (regularly 29.99) It also included a little 3 inch mini buffer.

You can get the 10" terry or lambswool bonnets there too. I think Wal mart may carry them as well.

I'm thinking it's mainly just a buffer. Doubt you could use it with pads for swirl removal etc.

Don't boo me too much here, but for $8.99 I bought one. (have no PC and currently do everything by hand.)

Haven't tried it yet due to all the snow and freezing weather here. Not expecting much but for the price, not risking much either.

Eliot Ness- Yeah, it looks pretty similar.

I found out that it was bought at Meijer. Since they don't cost too much I am going to go ahead and hang on to it. I am still going to get the 7424 though. First I need to buy a darn heater for my garage.

Thanks for the replys.

I'm sure I'll be posting here soon on what to use on my cobra. It needs some work, big time. It looks good from 10 ft away, but up close its a mess. Here's after a coat of zymol:
