Ever have Shampoo go Bad on You

I swear, it`s as if this particular bottle of shampoo has gone past it`s expiration date. Unless, maybe...it`s a bad jug, but it`s as if it`s lost it lubricity. WAG (wild a22 guess) but I`m thinking maybe it`s circa 3 years old ? Been trying to use this up, and with the last couple of washes, I keep on adding more soap per gallon, thinking it will make things better but I`m not noticing a huge increase even with the added ratio. I can`t think of ANY detailing product in the last decade going south on me, just short of older polishes where the solvent has gone out, even in ~tin cans~

Never had it happen to me but maybe some ingredients separated ...like Citrus Wash and Gloss does. I had kept mine in a clear bottle so could tell.

Did you mention which shampoo it was and I missed it? Id like to know so I stay away cause if I buy a gallon itll be around for a while.

Shampoo shall remain anonymous.....
Granted it`s stored in the garage that never get`s about 84 degrees.
I won`t fault any product beyond 2 years.

Somewhat ot, but over the last 18 -24 months, I`ve been streamlining my products and granted the bigger jugs (costco mentality) for most products are cheaper, I`ve tried to keep product orders within the realm of me using it up rotating it out before the 18 month mark.

I`ve got a bottle of Megs Hyper Wash that I swear is not HW. It doesn`t suds the same, feel the same or anything. It has now been demoted to my garage floor cleaner.

mobiledynamics- Huh, I bet most of my shampoo is older than that...no problems with shampoos going bad here, even with the stuff that`s decades old.

I`ve had a few that got watery. Current bottle of gold class is like a heavy cream instead of the honey it usually is like.
