06 Bentley Complete Detail – the non-corrective type!

It’s amazing what a little 6 hour decontamination and TLC can do for your car, without any polishing! This transformation was pretty huge considering the start and end conditions! When you let your car get filthy, a simple washing will not remove all the bonded contaminants from the paint. More extreme measure must be taken to do so.

Remember, this is a DETAIL, not a Paint Correction Reconditioning.

Starting off with a paint protection stripping wash, I pre-rinsed the car with a pressure washer to remove all the loose junk from the wheels, paint, and glass. Following that, I proceeded to foam the car with chemical guys citrus wash and clear to start the breakdown process. Then I began washing with the same shampoo. At this point, there were still some contaminants stuck to the car. Stoners terminator took care of the grease and grime while Wolf’s De-ironizer from Detailers Domain took care of the bonded junk in the paint. Following the deironizer step (helps remove and loosen debris like sonax on the wheels), I proceeded to clay the car with Detailed Image medium clay bar. Once all that was done and the car was contaminant free, I broke out the polisher to clean the paint and prep it for a sealant application. Chemical guys Ezcream Glaze followed by HD Poxy really added some depth, gloss, wetness to the paint.

Moving on to the interior, a very thorough vacuuming was done followed by an all interior panel cleaning. All the leather, and plastics were cleaned and then protected accordingly. Leather receiving leatherique prestine clean, and plastics conditioned an protected with 303.

The transformation was pretty drastic!!!!

This was probably one of the most thorough wash and wax with interior “complete details” I have done. No way would a simple wash then wax produce this change!

Im thoroughly glad to see someone who owns a bentley enjoy the car. Usually when we see details on these cars, they dont look driven at all to begin with.

Agree, what's the point of owning an awesome car you never drive?

Nice work on the car, Eric, terrific as always!

I 100% agree!

My old neighbor had a 360 modena Ferrari. Brand new, with 3 miles on it. He said he drove it something like 20k+ miles in the first 3 years while under warranty. The next three years after warranty expired, 4K miles as things just started breaking all the time he took it out and it was "getting expensive to drive". lol. If I had one, er, when I get an exotic (sounds better), Ill be sure to drive it all the time!

LOVE IT (Remember, this is a DETAIL, not a Paint Correction Reconditioning.)

Now it is easy to show customers (of mine) or possible customers what a REAL DETAIL IS when they are letting the so called DETAIL SHOP wash in & out for just $10.00, alot of folks what cheap and other DETAIL folks SALE CHEAP, and this is NOT EASY WORK, even if just part time, LOVE THE TURN AROUND great work you have done on this vehicle and very well written step by step directions
