Eagle One Tire Swipe for Low Profile Tires?

Hi guys, I'm just wondering if any of you have tried to use the tire swipes on low profile tires? I want to try them because Meguiar's Endurance tire gel was definately not ment to be put on with old rags!!:p and they look like they're meant for higher profiletires. (And no I'm not talking about the truck ones)

Thanks.

Take a knife and cut them in half. :xyxthumbs They fit my 65-series tires perfectly though. :p

BTW, if you or anyone near Surrey wants these for cheap, I'm pretty sure I've seen them at Surrey (Place? Center? The one under the SkyTrain with the Sears and Zellers.) The Sears auto center had a pile of these tagged at $2.59 a pack or something.

I really don't know where I'd be without you, 4dsc!:up :p

That is a pretty good price, but I live quite far from Surrey...

I remember I saw something about you working on a test between #26 and something else. (S100?) How is that coming along? I'm really interested!

Yep, I'm doing 1/2 and 1/2 on the rear end of my car between #26 and S100. So far I'm having trouble collecting much dust or dirt to see anything! :p Not like in the summer where you can collect a lot of dust, then it rains on it, you know?

If I get any results worth reporting I'll probably post up a separate thread about it. :)

I have 225/40/18 tires and the swipes work just fine. I tend to only use one half of the swipe at a time.

It's like getting two swipes for the price of one!

I paid $1.49 for a regular size one. JL900, how do you like the Meguiars Endurance gel, I just picked up a bottle today and am eiger to try it out. Do you like the results? Peace.

I think it's pretty good stuff. It's very durable and doesn't make the tire look too shiny. (Even though that is possible with multiple coats if desired) It stays on the tires fairly well (meaning no flying off onto the fenders etc.) and smells like grape!:p :up
