Do you think polishing wheels is a big Job

God that would be a fun job to do. Ive always wanted get my hands on a project like that. Those guys really done an amazing job too. I wonder what something like that pays lol.

That is amazing...I would love to be part of a team to work on something like that. I can't imagine how much product and pads they went through. Also why not do the whole thing in the hanger. With the sun beating down on that and once it was polished the reflection must have been blinding.:bigups

That looks like a fun job wonder what product they used

From the write up...

In short, It took 12 polishers, 1 pad washer(that's all he had time to do) 2 supervisors, 86 pounds of polish, 180 wool pads,6 cases of energy drinks, a combination of Dewalt, and Chinese buffers(the light ones are great for under the wings) and 5 days to bring it back to better than it's original shine. Pads were made for us by Lake country, some of the polish was Rolite, the rest was custom made for us.

Thanks Stephan I've not heard of Rolite

I just noticed that its available at Autogeek and searching the net its really a airplane polish

Might have to get some incase someone asks me to polish a B17...LOL

I have a hard enough time with large boats let alone planes. It maybe nice to have a tube of this stuff to try on chrome. It's packaging makes it look like a tube of toothpaste.

Do a Google search on it, it comes in many different containers as well as products for metal polishing

Reminds me of Zephyr Pro 40 which is the one that I use for polish
