Different ways to promote business??

First off Im fully mobile. Im just getting started here in a small town. I have my business cards and flyers all ready to go. My first plan is to go around to local businesses and tell them about myself and the services I provide, handing out my cards and flyers. Maybe an ad in the paper as well since Im the only one in town. What are some ways you guys have had success with??
 
Go to realtors and other professionals that take customers in their cars and give them flyers.



Hand out flyers on mail box's.



A good website helps a lot.
 
I noticed you said on mailboxes and not in mailboxes. You mean just slide it inbetween the flag and the box or something? Its a big no no to put them inside the box correct?

also, got your web page up and running? A web page with a growing gallery of your past accomplishments will help convince the more scrutinising customer...
 
Body shops.



Advertise on your truck. Not those cheep magnetic signs. Some good Vinyl Graphics with your phone#.
