Detailing seat, weekend project

To save my knees and the seat of my pants I've been looking for a very low seat.

I want it for detailing the lower half of the car/wheels.

I tried a few things but they weren't low enough, strong enough or roll easy enough.

I gave up and decide to build one. (if required I may add padding in the future)

This works better then I'd hoped. The ball casters roll very easily and change directions smoothly.

Shopping List:

3/4" plywood

5 - 2" Ball Casters w/plate

20 - 1/4" x 1" flat head machine bolts w/nuts

20 - 1/4" lock washers

Here is the results.

Just make sure you hang it up or put it somewhere where you wont step on it and go flying!

That's for sure. I was originally going to paint it gray but thought it would blend into the garage floor too much. You step on it and you're in for a very nasty spill.
