I'm in Lorain, OH 44053. About 30min or miles west of Cleveland. Looking for someone within an hour or so drive. Maybe more if needed.
I have a 77 MGB that a friend painted 9 months ago. It isn't a great paint job but I'm gonna have to live with it. He wet sanded to get rid of terrible orange peel and dirt in the paint. He didn't compound or polish right to get rid of the marring though. It needs an aggressive compound step followed by a finishing polish. The car's body is bare as seen in the pics below. No trim or other stuff to go around. No interior or other work needed, just the paint correction. It's also a tiny car. Those would be the positives. The biggest negative is the car doesn't run right now. I have a trailer and winch to haul it, but it'll have to be pushed if I can't backup the trailer to where you would need it. Hoping someone is willing to help me out with this somewhat unusual situation?
I tried to take a couple pics of the marring. Didn't show up great since I only had a low watt, mini halogen and cheap camera. This could lead to other detail jobs if you do good work and you'd be interested. The Chevelle linked to in my signature is going to be due for a light polishing soon.
The bath towel in the pics was the painter's. That gives you an idea of his detailing knowledge.
