Once again, this ride is owned by a real estate agent. I've been cleaning it for about 4 months now. She finally broke down and let me do a full job on it after seeing the 750 Li that I did. Here's the lowdown....

Pinnacle XMT #3 Swirl Remover/Polish

(EDGE 2K Green Med. Cutting Pad at a #5 setting)

Pinnacle XMT Glaze

(EDGE 2K Blue Polishing Pad at a #3 setting)

DP (Detailer's Pride) Max Wax

(Applied and removed by hand)

The Review...

Ok. This stuff is great! Instantly smelled the carnauba when I opened the jar. I was a little skeptical since this is the PMBA's entry level line up but kept my hopes up. I was not let down. Simply goes on as one of the easiest waxes I've ever applied by hand. Takes very little product and little effort to cover a large area. Took me about 15 minutes to apply to the H2. I let it haze over for about 30 minutes. SOOO easy to remove! I noticed that there was no staining on any of the trim. Now for the best part...the shine! It made the metallics pop and the gloss glow. I only applied one layer. Can't imagine 2!

Final Opionion:

The nicest paste wax I've ever used. Ease of use and shine gets an easy 10 in my book. Add the value and you get one heck of a deal.......maybe the best out there.

Addional Products used:

Armor-All Tire Gel

Pinnacle Leather Cleaner & Conditioner

Meguiar's APC

Meguiar's Wheel Brightener

Stoner's Invisible Glass

Wow! Great job...real estate must be booming in your area - It sucks over on this end! Houses seem to be up for sale for years

I really enjoy your threads, you do a nice job reviewing products! Thank you!

Excellent work! Great pop from the metallic and even the wheel wheels look perfect. :up

The H2 has really grown on me, probably because I clean one each week and detail a couple others semi-regularly.

I hit the owner with a 300.00 bill and she never blinked. She says she spends that in gas per week! My rates are going up! I do like 4-5 per now here where I live. Status symbols I think.

Thanks once again Scott. I used DP Max Wax on the billet wheels. Looks good huh? Durability is next recview.

How was the durability of the max wax? Loking at trying it out as today I dropped my xmt 180 wax on the ground and totally &^%$# it up, saddened me to have to throw it out after just using it only twice :(

you probably won't get an answer from him, look near his sig...

beautiful!!!

What did u put on all that plastic on the outside of the truck?

When i did a hummer a while back, i used tire foam.

thanks, i didnt see that before. Does anyone know how the durability is for the max wax? It will be on my daily driver corolla, outside every single day so I am assuming it would not be exceptional like collinite 476 which I have on there now.

My plan is to use M80, then possibly a glaze, then either wolfgang sealant or the poorboys ex-p topped with either collinite or another carnauba. I am more about durability than looks, but wouldnt mind it looking decent as well. It s a super white ( 040) corolla so I dont think it will really matter what I use.

I did take advantage of the fuzion special but for a daily driver dont think it will be anything special.

I am assuming the OP of this thread has a habit of getting himself banned?

I like DP Max Wax a lot, but I can't recall what kind of durability I got out of it. It's definitely not going to last nearly as long as 476, or any other Collinite product for that matter. I'd use Max Wax more as a beauty wax. It looks great on metallic paint.

Yes, the OP has done a fabulous job at getting himself put in permanent time out, no matter where he goes, except MOL of course.

i've never met or personally done business with justin, but i couldn't understand why he was always getting banned from sites that he praised their (AG) products. it seemed like some members were not very happy with whatever he has/had done... :nixwiess

i've never met, talked to, or personally done business with justin, but i couldn't understand why he was always getting banned from sites especially when he praised their products (AG for example). it seemed like some members were not very happy with whatever he has/had done and lost alot of respect for him. at one time or another, quite a few people looked up to him... :nixweiss

I was one of those people that used to look up to him (back when I was first getting started). I used to have a lot of respect for him till he started selling the foam guns. I almost didn't get the one I bought from him. I think it took him a month or two to get it to me and even then he didn't send everything he said he was going to send. I think there were a bunch of people that never received anything after paying him money. I think that's been the biggest reason for him being banned everywhere.

The other reason why I'm not real fond of him is because in all his reviews, every product was a "must have". That, and he'd always claim to do these 2-3 step paint correction/full interior type details in like 4 hours. He was a big suck-up to AG, and he's doing the same thing with Meguiar's now.

Plus, just recently he got caught stealing Paul Dalton's website material. Justin's new website read verbatim what Paul had on his.

I guess karma has finally caught up with him...

wow, apparently it has (if you do someone wrong, eventually it will catch up to you and this pertains to anyone). it's sad because many of us on here (and other detailing forums) are close knit and can usually trust each other when it comes to sellling/trades, etc...

p.s. sorry to hear you had to go through all that, i'm glad that you eventually got your foam gun... :)

Thanks Allen. You're right about most of this community being pretty close-knit. The foam gun thing was definitely unfortunate, but I'm just glad I was able to get the foam gun from him.

Live and learn! :)
