I've just landed a deal to do 6 agents with a local Coldwell Bankers agency. This one of the top agents SUV's. It has 100k+ on it but was fairly clean on the inside. This one also gave me a chance to try out and review 2 of the new Collinite product that I recieved. Her and I both were pleased with the outcome.

Here's what it got....

Collinite's No. 840

Pre-Wax Cleaner

(EDGE2K Experimental Soft Yellow Pad at a #5 PC setting)

Since the paint was white and the customer didn't want a full swirl removal, I decided to use this pre-wax cleaner. The smell was of a chemical and the feel was not gritty at all. This led me to believe that this product works chemically instead of abrasively. This turned out to be true. I removed every contaminent that there was on the paint. Tar, bugs, and oxidation came off. It took some time but worked. I might could have used a more aggressive pad but I didn't want to take to much time. Went on easy and came off just as. The sun made it a tad hard to remove on certain areas.

Collinite's No. 845

Insulator Wax

(EDGE2K Blue "Wave" Finishing Pad at a #3 PC setting)

The customer is going to have me clean this vehicle every week so it made for the perfect candidate for a durability test. We have all heard of 845's long lasting shell so we all gonna find out! You MUST put this on thin. I put the hood's coat on to thick and was hard to take off.....yet another trait of this wax. Smell was chemically and felt oily but what do you expect for a wax made for the long haul? I did the whole ride and let haze for 15 minutes. Came off easy by hand and left an unexpected shine! Depth was nice too. If holds up to it's legend, this might be a hit. Looks were above my expectations. AutoGeek has done good here bringing a legend aboard.
