dent and scatch best way to fix?

I have an 04 Acura TSX witch as acquired a dime sized dent and scratch that goes down to the primer in the middle of the passengers door. will I need to have my whole door repainted because the scratch goes to the primer? I was thinking they can push the dent out

and touch up the scratch buy layering the paint and sanding/polishing it back to new?

Please keep in mind that scratch is no longer than a dime is wide.

This car is 4 days old and i would really like to get it fixed ASAP and get it looking like new

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the help

You can probably have the dent repaired by having a PDR (Paintless Dent Removal) specialist work on the door. The sratch should then be able to be touched up. Some detailers can airbrush scratches and do a pretty remarkable job or you can go to the main page of this forum and look up the article on scratch repair and try it yourself. What color is your car? If it's metallic, it will be more difficult, but flat colors, especially white and black are much easier to get it to match. Good luck and let us know what you ended up doing.

PS- Do you have any pictures you can take and post on here?:)
