My vehicle was in need of some love, started off washing the wheels and tires.

Tires got BF APC, review on that coming.

For the wheels I used soap, megs hyper wash here, as Im not fan of it on paint. I have so many other great soaps, this one just doesnt cut it for me. The lubricity just isnt there for me. Its been deligated to wheels and pre correction soap.

Wheel are wearing a month old coat of Prima Hydro seal. Should be and easy clean up.

I usually let me brushes soak in the wash solution for about 5 mins. before starting, it softens the bristles just enough to help ensure they wont scratch.

I was a little put off by the price of the Dayton wheel brush, but after the first time I used it I understood what all the fuss was about. Its awesome for wheels! Its soft and has a ton of bristles to get behind the spokes. I have seen and hear about people breaking them off at the handle. Here you can see, because of the length of the bristles you may not even have to bend the brush to get behind them, just adjust your angel a few time and you can get in there very well. On tighter wheel designs this may not be possible, I have a chearper coated wire wheel brush I use for those.

If you are looking for a quality wheel brush, you really need to check out the Daytona brush. Dont let the price scare you, its worth the money.

Ive had it about a year and its still going strong. I should of mentioned this, I dont use this brush on real dirty wheels as it does lack some scrubbing power as the bristles are fairly soft. For decently maintained wheels with works great.

thank you! looking to buy. the nissan wheels are kind of tight. my biggest deliema is would the JR VERSION do better? if i want to clean the barrels i think it would fit better?

Jr would probably work better around the break. If I were you I would probably just get the regular. The Jr. has short bristles as well.

I have two of them large and small, best brush for the job I've used to date. Mine are on the third season and going strong

I like the fact that the Wheel Woolies provide maximum surface contact for cleaning AND, there's very little or no splatter while cleaning.

I have both sizes of Daytona's and all the Wheel Wollies. I like them and use them in different situations. My Daytona's are on the 2nd full year and still in great shape.

I have two jr's and love them. The do tend to splater me when I pull them out of tight places, but they do a good job.

I have both sizes of the Daytona and really like them both. I've treid several other brands of wheel brushes, but I like the Daytona the best. Good review.

I like this brush a lot but since I got wheel woolies I haven't used it as much. It works great in some situstions where the wheel woolies wouldnt.I have a small version but I haven't used it yet.

Once you have a Daytona eveything else seems to be cheap! In fact I jumped on the Wheel Woolie band wagon and still like the Daytona better.

I love both my Daytonas especially because I have nice new wheels without baked on brake dust in the barrel. So it does a great job of keeping it that way.
