Consumer Reports Review on Wet/Dry Vacs

The March of 07 issue of Consumer Reports has a review of Wet/Dry vacs, I recommend that all who are interested in purchasing a wet/dry vac read this article. They rank the Craftsman 17762 as the #1, and the Ridgid Pro Utility Vac at #2. I think that the craftsman beat the Rigid out for 1st because you get more capacity for the price, but they did rank the Craftsman higher in the categlory of "ease of use." Anyway you look at it, the top spots in the different groups (based on size), was a battle between Ridgid, and Craftsman. Let me know if you have read this article, and or agree with what it says.

Interesting. I've had very good luck with Craftsman wet/dry vacs. Definitely outlasted any Shop Vac I've had.

I have a Craftsman and a Shop Vac. I like the Shop Vac a bit more but they are both good.



In light of CR's history of being clueless, I no longer read them. They know little about car care and their recent baby seat report fiasco shows that they have absolutely no credibility.
