confused about using a polisher

gday all. ive been polishing, waxing, pretty much doing everything by hand. recently i have been thinking about buying a pc to save some time. im a bit confused about certain parts. mainly when i apply should i apply by hand and then use the pc to remove? or should i apply with the pc and remove with a new pad? or should i just apply and remove with one pad? of course a different pad for each different product.

sorry for very very noob questions.

:D

You can just squirt the polish onto the PC pad, then dab it onto the paint and smear it around BEFORE turning on the PC. Otherwise it will splatter like mad. Then you can work the polish using the PC, keep working until the polish finishs breaking down, and then wipe off the excess polish with a microfiber cloth once you're done polishing. :)

anything that's liquid can/should be applied applied by hand (though there are some exceptions, Klasse SG comes to mind). paste's should be applied by hand with foam applicator pads, but some people pop the pastes out of the container and smear it onto a pad. removal can be done with either MF bonnets on the pc (they cake up too fast for my liking though) or MF towels.
