Commercial Electric Pressure Washer

Hello folks!

I was wondering if any of you have any recomendations on a good electric power washer to use for a car washing service.

A lot poeple have recomended me the Karcher HD 855, but I was wondering if there are other choices out there.

The reason I was looking for the electric was mainly for enviromental reasons (fumes), and besides the electric ones are a little quieter.

Thanks,

Alex

Campsray 1500A. Probably a little more expensive than the Karcher, but more powerful (GPM) and the pump is more heavy duty. Top of the Line sells it.

$800 or less for a top of the line Cat powerwasher (electric). I have a guy that could even ship it to you in Costa Rica. I've had mine for almost 15 years, washed over 100,000 vehicles and have had just minor things go wrong with it. I think their the best. And very quiet too. Most coin op and drive thru car washes use Cat pumps.

I've heard great comments around the Hotsy, only thing is probably out of my price range. the Cam Spray looks like a good option. Also the Cat pumped washer.

What really holds me back is that I have to ship it down here and pay tax and duties on it, which basically doubles the price.

Thanks for the replies guys, keep 'em coming!

Shaun: Prolly 30 months of use... We use it 20 minutes per car/ 4 times a day.

Change the oil...

Great investment, IMHO.
