Good morning everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows if you apply collinite 845 insulator wax on top of blackfire sealant if the 845 will strip the sealant? I have a couple bottles that I would like to use up.

It will do just fine, I used it on my service truck here and it is fine no strippin at all. Its a tough wax (if infact it is wax "845" acts more like a sealant also) Just wait the recommended 12-24 hrs before topping with the 845. It will be protected that 4 sure, and it looks extra nice...:inspector::howdy:howdy

Thank you for the info. I have just applied the second coat of blackfire and plan on applying the 845 on Wed.

:thanks

Collinite 845 will work great on top of Blackfire Wet Diamond. I would recommend letting the Blackfire cure for 8 hours just to make sure that the 'stronger' solvents in Collinite don't effect it.

This is my favorite LSP combination by far! It looks great, and is very durable. I find it much easier to remove tree sap and other contaminants by simply using a QD.

Right now I have Jetseal 109 topped with CG Hard Core Paste Wax on my G8. While it provides a lot of gloss, I have a lot more trouble removing tree sap and road film. I may go back to the BFWD/845 combination.

You just can't argue with logic and commonsense!! :bigups
