Coffee stain removal from Mercedes Leather Seat

Hi, just wondering if anybody has any ideas on removing coffee stains from grey mercedes leather on a new CLS AMG!

I have tried IPA and some other leather cleaners but have had no luck,

any tips would be appreciated!

You may need to paint that seat. Coffee is an acid, left to set it changes the leather as it sets, dissolving the fibers and changing the color. The same happens on carpet when soda or coffee spills. The best remedy is to get the spill BEFORE it drys in.
 
If the coffee has soaked into the leather and left a stain there is nothing that will remove it and other action will need to be taken.

If the stain is on the surface but will not clean off then the colour will need to be restored and refinished.

Use a good quality leather cleaner together with a stiff bristled brush for cleaning. Foam cleaners will give the best dwell time.
 
Since you are doing salvage stain removing attempt might as well strip off all foreign contamination to its topcoat by using a pH 7.7 prep cleaner.



If coffee residual stain remains using a pH 3.5 tannin removal will solve your problem.



Otherwise a pH 1.3 tarnish removal mists over the tannin removal will kick up the chemical reaction faster.



Thereafter use a pH 3.8 cleaner follows with a pH 3.0 rinse.



Hydrating with a pH 3.3 hydrator and/or a pH 5.0 fatliquor is an option for a comprehensive restoration cleaning.



When dry protect it with a non-stick buttery feel with the unforgettable classic leather scent and the leather interior scent brand new!
