Clay or ABC Wash....

My caliper froze on me but I was in the middle of a road trip and dismissed it for a warped rotor. Needless to say.....I've got probably a lot or ~ala rail~rotor dust on the right side of the vehicle.

I can say for sure there is without touching the paint as the problematic wheel has deposits and when it rained, there was alot of rust/dustlike deposits on the footwell on that side of the vehicle. The opposite side did not have this *rusty colored* reside on the footwell.

Do you guys think a good claying will do the job or step it up to a ABC wash ? --

Yeah, much as I tout the wonders of ABC, if a simple claying solves the problem I wouldn't do more. But keep an eye on things and consider using the ABC after all if the rust blooms come back.

As long as the rust particles aren't burned into the finish (rail dust), clay will most likely do the job for you. I feel that the damage here is most likely on top of the finish instead of in it.
