Auto Zone has a great deal on the kit for $9.99. 100gm Bar and Spray Lube. Compared to the Mothers Kit with a 80gm bar for 17.95. I am sure both are similar in quality from what I have read.

I actually like the Clay Magic kit better. I have found it around home for half-price sometimes. Nothing like getting the kit for $5. :bigups

Thats a great deal , thanks for the headsup . I hope my local AZ carries it.

I pay close to $24 for a 200gm bar with no lube , so thats a good deal .

i like the claymagic kit better. comes with exactly wha i need.

mothers kit is equallt good and even brings u come of their cleaner wax and ds! the ds is a 4 dollar value compared to the clay lube claymagic has which is just soap and water. mothers small sample size cleaner wax is really quite good looking on new paint. just doesnt last very long.

which is why it makes since the name "clay kit". it brings everything a novice should need.

i like to get my claybars at local autobody supply stores. i get 4 bars for 38 bucks and it brings 2 fine grade and 2 medium grade...

joy

I think this is the regular price for clay magic. Don't think i've ever seen it higher priced here in MI

What new 3M clay bars? I have used them several times over the last few years and they are identical to the blue Clay Magic bars.

I have never had a problem with the Clay Magic bars breaking apart. They are excellent bars. I really like Mothers clay bars to.

The clay magic bars start falling apart, breaking up. After they have had there usage. Or if you've left in out somewhere in the sun for several hours

I've never had a problem with Clay Magic Blue. I've used it to do 3 complete cars and numerous times for spot claying on my daily driver and, honestly, I've abused the clay but not storing it properly.

I usually put it back in a zip-loc bag, but sometimes I forget & leave it on the work bench. It did not dry out or get hard, it still retains its original tackiness.

Once I was spot claying & using soapy wash water for a lube and I forgot the clay was in the wash bucket .... it sat in there overnight. Looked kind of weird when I fished it out but, after it dried, it's continued to work as advertised.

I have absolutely no problem with this product.
