I am 17 years old just about to turn 18. I see many of my friends abuse their cars and i think that is just sad. As you may have figuered i have a 95 toyota camry coupe with a manual trnsmission. It looks very clean and runs pretty nice. I BOUGHT IT FOR $4000 DOLLARS and it has 195000 miles. i have not yet noticed any problems but i want to reverse any minor damage that could have been done by previouse owner(s). are there any additives or car care senarios that anyone can suggest. i pretty much want to restore my car under the hood. keep in mind i am on a budget.:bow

Welcome to the forum!

I suggest you read through the Carport site which has a link at the top of every page and then consider buying the ebook about detailing. both have tremendous amount of information about keeping your car clean.

HTH and Good Luck.

Under the hood?

If your on a budget all I would really recommend is to have a complete tune up, oil change, spark plugs, plug wires, tranny fluid all that stuff you know.

If you like the car and have a little extra money, rebuild the motor and tranny and that thing will last.

I like to think "wait till it's broke then upgrade it".
