Chemical Guys Polishes! Is it just me or...

The Driver

Detailers Workshop
... do the Chemical guys 700 series (778,721 & 700) have literally NO cutting ability? The few cars that I have done, CORRECTION, ATTEMPTED to do with their 700 line, including 1 single stage and a couple of regular paints have taken forever or just don't cut it (No pun in tended). I've used a rotary in conjunction with a 5.5 orange CG hex pad and still cannot remove even medium imperfections, I then switch back to good old Menzerna an poof all swirls, rids and scratches disappear. I swear their site makes it seem as though it's the miracle polish. Is it just me or has anyone else had this problem?

I have both 778 and 721. I have found the 721 to be ok but leave lots of micro marring. But I really like using the 778 for one step polishing or on chrome.

I use an orange Lake Country with the 721. And a black or white pad with 778 depending on what I am trying to accomplish.

And yes, that is mine! Good eye :bigups Do you have one?!

Thanks ill give it a try. I had an S60 04 base, lowered, strut bars, pegs an a bunch of other goodies. I miss that car :( I do love the R, one day ill own one. I still have my 17 pegs they Fs if you need some winter ones :)

You're welcome!

Sounded like a sweet car! It's tough to find a lower mileage R now a days. I'm currently on the stock 17 inch Pegs. But I'm looking at the Vanilla Performance wheels soon after winter!
