carnuba in wax as u dry

When I called eagle one and asked if this product contains any carnuba I was told it does. I just wanted to share this with all of you as this probably explains why this product works so well on a polymer or carnuba topper.



I should say that when I first asked this question to eagle one I was told that it didn't, but then I called again and asked to talk to someone else who is in charge of marketing this product and they said that it does. (I think they talked to one of their chemists)
 
Water reactive?Does spmeone know exactly what that means? Cause all I know is that diluted it is awesome. My ride's always shiny now.
 
Well, Im not sure exactly what that defines, but according to EO, you should not mix it with water to use as a spray. The water on the car is what activates the flash curing of the product. It negates any bonding when its premixed and then sprayed on the surface. It will still shine since its a polymer but the shine can be wiped away or will evaporate in very short order, since it hasnt formed any bond.



I had tried using it as a wash & wax by adding to my wash solution, back when when it first came out. Thinking that I may be a genius by doing so, I called to tell them about it. Thats when they handed me my azz on that theory by explaning how the stuff really worked. Ive only used it by design since then.



Sorry if this info interrupts any recent threads on modifying its application for use as a spritz detailer. I really enjoy following posts on the latest hot trends that get started and how they keep expanding.
 
when you call Eagle One you talk to Valvoline people first . They think that they know about Eagle One products, they dont. Anything they tell you they are reading from a sheet . When you call ask to talk to someone from Eagle One , that way you can get the wright answers

Whether diluted WAUD lasts or not, it does a great job of restoring gloss to the finish. Since I usually QD every day or two, any lack of durability makes no difference to me. As long as it doesn't harm the existing wax/sealant (and it doesn't seem to), I'll keep on using it . . .

I agree. Diluted, it's a great QD. Full strength, however will streak and smear without some rubbing. They have a nice product there.....

I used WAUD today as a qd, mixed it 3 to 1 and wow does it put on a great shine. It shines at least as good if not better then the best qds out their. I dont know how long it lasts since I just used it 1 hour ago . Next week I will call Eagle One and see what they say about the 3 to 1 mix. In the mean time it looks great to me.
