Has anyone used one of these? Are they tough enough? Do they work for cars with studded tyres or do they just go POP?

I am considering snow foam/power wash route rather than ONR in winter the amount of crap on the roads is unbelievable and although I could get ONR to work it would just take too long and a pre wash to get all salt, mud and dead animals off is just quicker and easier. But I want to abide by water laws.

I know Auto Concierge (Bob?) uses one.

i use one, same as pictured in fact.

i would not drive on it with a studded or any sort of winter tire unless completely deflated. even then id be wary cause its only like .48 thick

i deflate the berms a little before driving on. if its a light car i leave the berms 80% inflated and just drive over it. it doesnt make a difference when u inflate it 3/4 way or all the way it still holds the water.

they have mats with removable foam but i heard those were junk.

they do have mats with removable L brackets that would probably be best suited for your needs.
