Ok this sounds like a stupid question coming out of my mouth...but is there a certain car foam/soap/wash that you spray on (say using a hose attachment), let it sit, and then assuming the car isn't ABSOLUTELY filthy, basically whisks the dirt away? For example, there are some wheel cleaners that you spray on, let sit a minute, then spray off, and so long as the wheel isn't destroyed it basically comes out clean...

Some products are certainly superior to others. Bottom line: mechanical agitation is required to get a surface truly clean. I suppose a pressure washer would assist as well.
I'm foaming my cars during this brutal weather followed by a rinse and drip dry. Is the surface truly clean? No. Does it look a million times better? Yes.
