Business cards

Hi all, I haven't been here since the summer. I miss all the great tips I received through out the years. Well any way.... Where do you guys get your business cards made up? It's about time for new cards and before I ordered I wanted to get some feedback on where is the best place to go, the best stock to use, best prices, and the most variety of cards.

Thanks,

Tony :bestwish

Awesome Auto templates to choose from. Loads of fonts and styles. You can have writing on both sides of the card. Glossy, heavy card stock, great prices and service.

I had excellent experiences here for business cards and post cards. Friendly service. I got to know the owner. Very helpful and accomodating. After one order I received a coupon to apply to a future order.

I got mine, full color, full glossy, front and back, designed my own, 5000 cards for 150 bucks shipped to me....yeah thats right 5 thousand of them....

I use got print also. I only order 1000 at a time. I change the look and style of the card every time I order. When my customers see the new ones they take some and say "oh I don't have this card is it new?". They always take a few extra to give to friends.

I go to Office max and get 1000 for $15.99 They are nicer than you think, I even have a Ferarri on it. I also have magnets which were $300 for 1000. those have my car on them, nice full color. Magnets are practicle, people actually use them. Plus your number will be on there fridge. gary

Gary's right, don't under estimate your local business supply stores. Hey, they're always running discounted specials and they've got plenty of choices when it comes to designs and premium card stock.

My dad used to work at a printing company, and they were throwing away a box of pearlescent white paper, so he brought it home. It's about the weight of business card stock too. So I just resized a couple of my favorite pictures of cars that I've detailed, created an Excel document with the custom layout, and printed my own.

Now I have cards with pictures that actually sparkle as you move the card around in the light. :)

I actually use vistaprint for most of my cards and paper items. I used a local big chain once and was not too thrilled with them.

I did mine through Overnightprints.com, I did the graphic work on Photoshop then uploaded it to them, pretty good turnaround and it was only 49.95 for 1000 double sided glossy cards. They aren't the cheapest, but the quality of cards is amazing. I used a full color shot of an NSX as my background, and then put my name, number etc on the front. I've got a price list on the back and a couple supplier logos (4 star, Poorboy's, Megiuars) on the back.
