It was pretty cool to work on this particular corvette. The owner decided to pay tribute to the Blue Angels and the armed forces with this car. The car has been in numerous magazines and countless shows. The owner is extremely active in welcoming troops home, giving them rides, presenting awards to vets, etc. Despite the hours of careful taping around the custom decals, it was a very satisfying car to work on.

The car had to have some paint work done, and when new decals were cut ON THE CAR....well you can see the aftermath....
DEEP razor blade cuts
Taping off this F-18 Hornet was both tedious and fun at the same time
Swirls, RIDS, buffer trails....
Initial compounding on fender produced good results
More defects
Bodyshop sanding marks over the body edge.....very sloppy work
