Not bad work, but can't understand the reason for wet sanding the hood, based on the condition of the hood.

the wetsanding was done to remove the orange peel & to restore clarity to the reflections in the paint. it had been repainted some time ago & the finish left from that work was very painfull for the eyes. the rest of the car came in pretty good shape but that hood was bothering me & it was bothering the customer as well.
2500 cut it just enough without going over agressive with 2000 or 1500.
so that is why i wetsanded the hood.

Thanks I've seen very few times that wet sanding was required. Was the OP on the clear coat?

my friend has a same colour/year bimmer and he has soooo much scratch/swirls just bad..But yours is soo much better . Now i will have to tell him to use ur method ..
