Just curious, I have a microfiber one now but I have used it for about 1.5yrs so I figured I was due a new one....anyone have any suggestions. I will probably order from autogeek.net cause that is where I will get my other stuff.

Thanks
Brent

Check out Pinnacle Microfiber Detailing Mitt on autogeek.net. I use one that is close to Pinnacle made by another company.

This discussion was raised a while back before the domain swithed and it was agreed upon, I believe, that sheepskin mitts would give the least amount of scratches. MF mitts tend to drag the dirt particles along on the tips of the fibers causing damage over time.

I also use the Euro's....it is easy to go and pick the ones you feel are thicker and softer...

Also if you live in New England area..you can go to Ocean State Job Lots and they have Vrooom sheepskins for 2.99 or 3.99..I forget..lol...but they feel nice and look good...I was going to get some but I have a ton...got 10 when wal mart was blowing out the Euros last year for 2.00 at the end of season...

But the Euro's are nice for the money...

exceldetail.com has a great sale on sheepskit mitts his Med plush mitts (made by eurow) are 3 for $15 great deal an garenteed plush mitt (no need to pick through any).

If you use Zaino then stick with a cotton wash mitt use thee SMarnold heavy duty cotton wah mitt. Otherwise if you want to use a sheepskin on some other type of wax sealant fine.
I've used the eurows before on Zaino and it swirled also sythetic cotton will swirl stay awy from these.

Why do you feel that the type of wash implement you choose is impacted by what LSP you use? If you're not getting swirls using sheepskin on a car protected by "brand A" LSP then you shouldn't get swirls on a car protected by "brand B" LSP.

I know Sal has pushed the use of cotton products for many years, but IMO there's no beating a genuine (not synthetic) sheep skin mitt for washing and microfiber for buffing & drying.

I agree that the sheep skins are about the best and I've used MF and natural sea sponges....However one thing to always make sure of is that they are clean....I wash mine about every 5 to 7 washes to make sure that its super clean...this is especially during the winter when the cars are dirtier

This is not accurate by any means, IME. I use Eurow sheepskin mitts on all of my LSPs, including Zaino, without any problems.
