Best Wash Mitt?

ACE

What's that smell?
I've tried quite a few mits - Chenille (I like it) MF (too heavy and holds too much water) Black Lamb (pretty damn good), but now I think I have my favorite - the Little Blue drying towel. Man, it just works perfectly. Picks up just the right amount of soapy water, no scratching, feels just right for the job. Got to pick up a few more. I'm in love.

I also like the lambs wool mitt. I just started using them about a month ago. It is very soft, holds a great deal of soapy water and has not offered to hold any debri that would scratch the finish. Comes out of the washer and dryer looking good, too!;)

I used to use a big foam sponge, but thats been retired to wetsanding duty now. Now my main wash mittis a chenille mitt, my problem is finding one that doesnt fall apart after washing and drying!

Well, I like a good 100% Cotton wash mitt. However, I am going to try a good lambs wool mitt soon. That little Blue drying towel sounds interesting.

ACE, are you comfortable that there's enough knapp in that Blue drying towel to suspend the dirt from a really dirty vehicle?

Boss- I see what you're saying and I don't know the answer. I soak my car really well and use a large amount of suds with no pressure on the towel, so it's probably cool. I think it's important not to get lazy and start stretching that last dip in the bucket too far. I won't do more than half a panel without going back for more soap.

After experimenting with many mitts over the years(sheepskin, chenile. ringspun, MF, etc.) I think I like the sheepskin the best. My second choice would be a cannon charisma towel that my mom made into a washmitt for me. It is nice, but the lack of nap and weight of the mitt is a problem.

I got a blue coral Chenille wash mit at target its extremly soft but has alont of lint which doesnt really both me that much cause it all gets washed away anyway.
