Best Strong Leather cleaner?

Any recommendations on a strong leather cleaner? I need something thats strong but cost effective. I'm doing a 2 week, 10+ application of leatherique Rej oil on my whole interior. I need something that is pretty strong but cheap to remove between applications. I'm really impressed with leather masters strong cleaner but I don't see any 1 litre sizes :(

Dont you want to stay with leatherique's recommended product for removing their oil? (Prestine Clean)

What if the cleaner you get removes all the work the oil is doing to the leather ?
2 weeks 10+ applications? Is the leather that dead?

Good luck with this..

You can get liter size Leather Masters products if you order direct ($29.99 for Strong Cleaner), which is what I do. LM is my go to for maintaining and cleaning of well cared for leather. For trashed leather I'll clean with Optimum Power Clean first.

Try using a foamer + any decent safe cleaner like OPC. I'd say Rapid Cleaner S maybe worth it as well.

I was always intimidating using apc, isn't optimum power clean the equal to 1Z W99 (which I use). The stuff is so strong even at 1:10 it's dulled rubber matts. Where do you pick up your leather masters stuff? I found a seller on ebay for 31 shipped.

Volvo leather really is a pita once it starts aging. I would use prestine but I feel like it's more of conditioner. I want something that's a straight cleaner.

What do you guys think of 1Z blitz as a cleaner? I have a bunch but was a bit nervous even though it's definitely one of the weaker apc's.

I believe the direct shipper of Leather Master products is Uniters. Uniters

OK, I get it.. Volvo leather..

I use a lot of Leather Masters products and they are available at amazon dot com..

I have used Einszett Deep Plastic Cleaner on some leather stains and it seems to work well... I have not used it on Volvo leathers, so cannot give you feedback there..

Do you have access to a steamer? It works great at warming up the leather and loosening up all kinds of gunk you didnt know was there.. I run a triangular steamer brush with a white towel over the bristles, so I am just injecting hot steam through and run this all over the leather. Its always amazing how the white towel turns a dirt color of varying shades...

My only other leather cleaner I like and have had great success with is Zaino leather cleaner/ conditioner.. Its a smaller bottle with a spray head that is good.. The owner of the company will never consider selling bigger quantities, so that may not be a good option for you...

I guess if you find a cleaner and use it between the applications of the rejuvenator oil, you will find out if your cleaner is right or not..

So I'm most likely going to go with power clean. I've been reading up an looking around. It seems safe enough but definitely strong enough. If it doesn't live up, I'll pick up some leather masters strong cleaner... if that's not enough there's always leather masters super remover.

I think you will really like OPC on leather. I use it 1:10 with excellent results. If you have some stubborn stains you could use it 1:4.

I have prestine clean but I'm not sure if I'm going to go with that after the last treatment. I actually used a heat gun today fix some cracks an wrinkles. Was a tedious process but well worth it. Normally you would burn right through the leather but pre-soaking the leather with rej oil allowed me time to heat it up smooth minor wrinkles.

Note: Do this at your own risk! I did this on bs leather first, it took a while to get to down. This is not for beginners... you will burn your leather. You have to find that point between burning an too cool.

For heavy dirt, I like 1Z deep plastic cleaner. Ultima interior shampoo is good too. Recently, i've tried Mothers Leather Tech Cleaner. I was very surprised how well it cleaned and left the surface perfect without overdrying or stickiness from surfactants.
