I’ve done a car for this client previously and he just bought himself a new daily driver. He loved the correction and protection package I did on his Porsche and wanted the same treatment for his new Audi.
The paint was in very good shape with only minimal defects. A light polishing was all that was necessary. After polishing, the paint’s gloss really amped up! It looked amazing in person; very glossy and deep. Hit it with the Scangrip lights and the multi-colored metallic flakes were literally deep enough to jump into! This paint is amazing!!!! I can’t wait to see this in the sun!!!

Man what it brought back memorys. In year 2000 I bought my first more high powered car an Audi S4 -92 with the 2.5l turbo engine at 230hp 5 speed clutch and it was the dark blue metallic paint. It was imported from Germany to the dealership I bought it from. The engine was trim chiped with a rather uncommon but high quality chip that made 280hp. From the same tuner it was switched springs and shock absorbers. I added a new race intake filter and modified the exhaust to get 310hp. The car was a dream to drive and the more curves it was it excelled in breath taking performance. And the brakes this only year was UFO brakes in the front. Instead of the calipers sit on the outside of the rotor it was from the inside of the rotor. This made it possible to the higher diameter of the rotor and a very great brake capacity. The downside was it had to safety cage if the brake pads was flying off. So it looked like I had steel rims with a hubcap in the front. When it was the safety cage that you saw through the aluminum rims. I had the back end of the car lift so the wheels was in the air a few times when brakeing before a corner.
The paint I know now was very swirled up and har lived a hard life before I got it. But I think it had a dark primer coat paint that gave an awesome difference between sunny weather and when it was dark outside. The paints germany cars have has been very nice and feels high end.

Sorry for the anecdote but when memorys starts spinning lol

Wonder if they have revived the 2.5l engine block that was such successfull. I remember a Swedish tuner Dahlbäck Racing that got 1200hp out of this engine. And put it in a VW Golf lol.

Those Quattro Audi cars - especially the RS models launch so hard it is pretty hard to get one - ever- off the line... :)

Ron, it doesn`t sound too bad man.

rlm--this color really needs to be seen in person. It was difficult trying to capture all the different colors/hues in the flake! It`s great paint!
