This was a friendâ€â„¢s car that he left me whilst he was in the US on business. I had it for two weeks so decided to go totally overboard with it. The paint wasnâ€â„¢t in bad shape (one plus of hard Audi clear) but it was in real need of a thorough going over as he rarely gets the chance to wash it, let alone clean it properly.

Process was:



EXTERIOR

#83 Sonus green

#80 Sonus green

#9 Sonus green

#7 Sonus bue

EX x2 Sonus blue

Souveran by hand

Wheels removed and cleaned inside and out with 3x Hyperturismoâ€â„¢s Wheel Wax

Arches cleaned with AG Engine and Machine cleaner and dressed with AG Vinyl and Rubber Care

Tyres got Megâ€â„¢s endurance High Gloss

AIO on windows and rubber seals

VM on chrome etc.

AG Vinyl and Rubber Care on front grilles

AG Bumper care on mud flaps

#0000 steel wool with AG Intensive Tar Remover and NXT All Metal Polysh on exhaust tips



INTERIOR

AG Leather Cleaner

AG Leather Care

AG Interior Shampoo

AG Vinyl and Rubber care

AG Fast Glass



Iâ€â„¢ve no idea how long it took me as I did it in drips and drabs over the course of the two weeks, but needless to say he was over the moon when he picked it up saying âہ“this is definitely better than when it was newâ€Â� â€â€œ which IMO is what makes it all worthwhile.

If you spec the S-Line varient of a model you get the more aggressive front bumper, side skirts, boot spolier bigger wheels and sports suspension. I think you also get the aluminum interior trim and the half leather seating etc.

in the UK when you drive standard on the left side does your first gear start towards the left of you or is it the first gear closest to you.

First is the same as it is in any car - over to the left.

No this one definitely wasn't free! Although I did give him mates rates as he's going to plug my business at work which should hopefully get me quite a few clients considering the size of the organisation (Cisco).
