Anyone use Finish First?

I've read a lot on here about various waxes and synthetics like NXT but haven't been able to find anything on Finish First. Does anyone on here use, or have used, this product? It has always worked very well for me, but I'm wondering if it has some short comings I don't know about.

I'm wondering if it lends itself to a top coat of a carnauba like #16 and the like. Thanks for any info you have to share.

There might be a few Finish First users that I've ever read about here... do a search on Liquid Glass because despite what the FF company says, it's widely considered to be suspiciously similar, so similar comments probably apply.

It wouldn't hurt to use #16 over it, I'm sure. People have topped Liquid Glass and pretty much any other sealant you can think of. :)

I have used it for years with good results. My only complaint is that it will stain trim, so you have to be very careful. My wifes CR-V has lots of black trim to work around. I had just bought a new can when I found this forum, so I'll stay with it for a while. I will probably try the Klasse twins or VM & EX-P next.

Let me give you a bit of advice since you have a CRV. If you get some Poorboy's products (Excellent stuff, BTW) I would avoid the Polish and Polish with Carnuaba for the CRV. PB's polish will do a number on CRV trim. EX and EX-P are okay as is the SSR line but the Polish is evil on CRV trim.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm anxious to try the VM/EX-P combo after seeing the results people here have gotten on silver using it.
