Adam's New Glass Sealant? Alternative..maybe?

Hey fellow autopians!



I was looking at adam's new Glass Sealant.



Adam's Glass Sealant Kit - NEW



Is there any alternativese out there? I hear Rain-x leaves a lot of Haze when removing.



Will a paint sealant work well on glass? I'm trying to avoid spending more $



Any input is greatly appreciated.

I wash my windshield like normal, but to prep it for a sealant I would go a little further and use a glass cleaner that doesn't leave a film, and clay bar the windshield to get all of the contaminates off. After wiping it with IPA and letting everything dry, I apply Opti-Seal for my sealant.

Almost any sealant will work on glass. I've used DG 101, 105, and PB PWC Blue with success. Read the label. If it says, "do not use on glass", don't. Otherwise, any sealant should be fine. I wouldn't waste $ on a dedicated glass sealant product.

Glass don't need no sealant. The Castrol stuff works well enough. It might be useful for plastic headlights though.
