93 Berlina Black NSX. Show Prep

Thats Fresh

New member
posting only the details with major correction. too busy with work. unless yall want me to post 1step polishes, new car preps, wash/wax details (which are boring). coming up to the plate was now my 10th black car in a row. Vehicles history, owner had it for 5 years and kept it cleaned and garaged kept (only 22k miles). he hasnt driven it in about a year. before storing in the garage, he had it detailed by a "pro detail" shop  I found lots of residue in cracks, jambs, etc. Mind you, this guy is very particular about all his cars. As the go to detailer in my area for the local car clubs, i had to treat his NSX as i do with all cars, like its mine and also to keep my reputation. He wanted it to be prepped for a show and i took on the job. my initial response was about a day and half for the detail since he said it was previously detailed and it hasnt been driving in 9 months so i said itll be an easy one. i was wrong. on to the detail.

yaay you made it to the bottom.

as always thanks for viewing, C&C welcome

wow, talk about black on black on black. that seriously came out lookin better than some mirrors. if that owner didnt come out absolutely amazed, he should be slapped. thats pretty bomb job.

not only a great job on the paint (i just used 106 + 85 on a black porsche myself: will be posted soon), but i really like the attention to details on everything else. A car is only as clean as its dirtiest part: and this baby really looks great!

Car looks great man!

One thing that bugs me about doing a correction like that is that most people don't even notice that its THAT free of swirls and is so reflective..oh well..

Nice work man, very nice! That NSX is just, well, it makes me queasy it's so sick :). Nice attention to detail and great sun shot, as well! That's the goods, there!

that is awesome work! the camera flash. I think is the only true correction light. you proved that there. Great detail al the way around! perfect!

i know! i make sure they take a good look at it in the sun and under my lights before they leave so they can remember the true condition of it. when they get there, i show them again under the same lights and thats when their jaw drops. haha
