3M Scratch Remover vs. Rubbing Compound Fine Cut

Saw that both state they remove 1200 grit sanding marks. Why choose one over the other? Trying to get something OTC.
 
Get the new bottle of 3m scratch remover from WalMart. It looks to be part of the 3000 series of products. I think it's slightly milder than 3000 RC based on the chart included.
 
I want what has the most cut of the two. Both are in new bottles. I know your the 3m man so I appreciate the help. I had luck with removing bad swirling off an 05 Ram with the older bottle of 3m rubbing compound at walmart (small bottle old label). Followed up with SFX2 and had a great finish. I ran out of my normal Menzerna combo at the time and want more otc stuff for some of my details to keep cost down since I'm a weekend enthusiast.
 
If you want the most cut look into 3m 3000 Extra Cut RC or Megs 105. You should be able to find them at a paint supply store.
