2007 Dodge Nitro - Black daily driver

This is my daily driver, it sits outside 24/7 all year. It's the first black vehicle I've ever owned which is both a joy and a curse I've found. It brings joy when it's clean and anxiety when it's dirty.

The paint correction is as follows: Just a note, I'm very much a rookie, but I really like the Menz product line. This was my autumn treatment as it will probably be my last unitl the snow clears.

Washed with Dawn

Menz IP using yellow pad

Menz 085rd using white pad

Menz 085rd using blue pad

Washed with Megs GC.

Collinitte 845IW by hand

Trim and tires were done with a 1:1 Opti-Bond solution.

I tried my best to get some sun shots but it was low in the sky. I'll try to get some better ones this weekend. It's not my intention to hide anyting, in fact I want to show all flaws to get some feedback on my process so I can learn. I'd also like some feedback on my photography, this is new to me too.

looks good the pics look a lil grainy, your ISO setting looks to be too high and you should always use a tripod when trying to take the best possible pics

Looks pretty good to me. A few suggestions:

Clean and dress the wheel wells, it will make a big difference in overall appearance.

Clean and dress the trim, it also will make the detail look better and the paint "pop" more.

lol Love the snow pic! Car looks great! What machine did you use to polish the car?

Thanks. The machine is an old heavy-duty random orbit sander that I converted to a polisher. It's a tank and has been reliable in my shop for years.

Thanks for that, I'll try it. I really need to practice with the different ISO settings, I usually just put it on auto and shoot. Obviously that doesn't work so well.

Thanks, sounds like good advice to me. I'll do that from now on.
