2002 Viper

Mr Detailer
I am going to be detailing a 2002 Dodge Viper. It is sitting in a show room, nicely on a lift. The showroorm is small meaning it's the only car in there and they had a tough time getting it in because of its width. So that means no washing or rinsing, however the car doesn't have any dirt on it, just some light dust build up.

My bigger concern is the rims, the inside of the rims are covered in brake dust, but when I ran my finger over it it seems to becomming up fairly easy. My question is what would you use to clean the inside of the rims, barring in mind you can't rinse them off, I can only spray and wipe.

I am just looking for some ideas.

I plan on posting pictures of the car when I am finished.

Poorboy's Spray + Wipe is an effective product for this.

Or, you could use a wheel cleaner. Just spray on the dry wheel, wipe with an older MF, then follow up with S+W. Following that, finish with a polish + sealant.

I was going to suggest the S&W, but (this might be a no-no I'm not sure since I dont detail professionally) could you just take off the wheels and take them outside to clean them if they are really that bad?

If the dust comes off with your finger, Spray & Wipe is the product to use. Use older towels that will not be used on the paint. The dust is very abrasive and many times is not removed completely from the towels in a wash.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I will use the spray and wipe. I can't take the rims off but that thought did occur to me. I will let you know how it came out.

Thanks for the sugestions, I used Spray and Wipe it worked good. The car came out great, everyone seemed to love it. The red really pops out on this car.
