I promised my father a complete detail before the end of the summer and today was the day for the exterior.
Unfortunately, no before shots, but, this truck is his baby so it was just daily driver dirt, and the need for some attention. The truck never really gets that bad...just needs touch ups now and then.
The truck was AIO'd with the OC a couple weeks ago so the finish was pretty good. I did a quick Wolfgang Clay after washing, then I applied Klasse AIO where necessary, and then went for a coat of NXT, and then topped with Clearkote Carnuba Moose. The tires were dressed with Poorboys Bold and Bright, and the rims had a coat of AIO applied. All exterior trim received Mothers Bak to Black, and the bumpers were buffed with AIO.
All products were applied by hand today.
I am really pleased with the wetness of the paint, as well as the reflections of the paint. We need to remember that this truck drives through the Canadian winters, and is a daily driver.
After the detail...
The hood reflections, including the flag.
A few reflections, including the garden around the flag pole.
