I bought a 10x10 ez up canopy and its very easy to put up but you need to people to put it up. Does anyone know of a canopy that requires only 1 person to pop it up?

Hello Reggi914 and welcome to Autopia!

I've been using that EXACT canopy for over two years now and I always put it up and take it down by myself. Perhaps you are not doing something correctly??

You can see it in the background of this photo...

How do you do it? Do you do it from one side or do you have to go from side to side? An explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike!

Hey reggi!

I'll take the canopy out of its case then begin to "walk" one side out. When the canopy does not move any further I will go the diagonally opposite side and "walk" that side out some. After it is open enough that I can get underneath it I will push the canopy ceiling frame arm up on one side until it locks into position. I will then move to the diagonally opposite side of the locked arm and push that arm up into the locked position...repeating the same process for the other two sides...kinda like the process you would use to torque the lug nuts of a wheel. Once the frame is entirely locked into position you can move from side to side and extend the posts to your desired height.

Hope that helps!

I also have one and it's super easy for one person. I do it by pylling out each corner, working my way around until I can lock the pins. Then all I do is lift one side and extend the legs, then the other. I can set it up in less than five minutes.

Takedown is even easier, I retract the legs, then unlock the pins and just lift a corner and walk it into itself.

Once you do it a couple of times you'll be an expert!

I use the same tent. It can be a pain in the butt to do but i do it myself as well.

Just so you know, you can go to a local print shop and they can make a logo to fit that tent. It will really stand out.

I did not do it yet as it cost $300.00 and I don't think i need it that bad right now.
