The car hasn’t been coated in 7 years, but it’s been in storage the whole time and has only been driven around the block since it’s registered as non-op. Hoping a good correction and re-coat could really mask the flaws.
I do take your advice seriously. If there isn’t any paint left to cut like you’re suggesting, I wouldn’t want someone to risk bleeding through trying to fix it, and I would want a more cautious approach. I didn’t mention that the last people to correct it have said there’s more room to correct...
I did not. Your post is still there:

However, you didn’t read the thread where I stated it wasn’t clear coated paint.
Several years back I was cleaning a plastic cover and didn’t let it dry. I left the cover on top of the car and trapped moisture created etching into the paint. I had a good paint correction done with a polisher years back, but now I’d like to go back and see if the rest of it can be improved...

Anyway, I may apply more coats of the Griots ceramic. The airbag isn’t very dirty, just dry/discolored...
Have an old, dried out air bag cover on a special car that I’m looking to add trim restorer on to darken the piece. I have Cerakote Ceramic Trim Restorer that’s been a phenomenal Amazon product on outside trim pieces for some of my cars, and it’s lasted years. I’m thinking about using it on this...
What's the SAFEST (most reversible) product to use for Leather seats and plastic interior trim? To rephrase, what products are the easiest to take back off if one wanted to? It's odd I know, but I've seen too many seats with spots on them that'll never come off from products that splashed on...
Hey guys I have a question here. I had my door repainted about 7 months ago and I can now see what look to be bodywork marks under the clearcoat. I am not entirely sure if they are under the clearcoat though as it took them 6 months to appear (at first they weren't visible). Is it possible that...
