I need to find a totally transparent wax or sealant to preserve a mirror finish. Are there any waxes or sealants fitting the transparency characteristic? TW Ice has been recommended. Thank you in advance for your replies.

Do any of you have any experience with Turtle Wax Color Magic Black Car Polish? If you have used this product on a glass like shine, did the Turtle Wax cloud the black glass finish?

Hi. I just re-painted a vintage set of Slingerland drums, made in 1956. I turned the drums on a lathe I built and painted as the drums turned. (I am leaving out months of prep work.) What turned out seemed to be a disaster. I used Rustoleum black lacquer. I waited months for the lacquer to dry...
