zaino leather cleaner useage?

THERUSE

New member
hello,

i plan on getting the z9 (leather soft spray cleaner)

and z10 (leather in a bottle treatment & conditioner)

simply becuase i love the z1, z2, z6 on my paint. :up :bounce

my question however is will the 8oz bottles of z9 and z10 be enough for 2 cars?, volvo s70, and a chrystler town & country (that's right, a mini van, llemme tell you: It is NOT that MINI).

how much of it gets used per seat lets say?

and how often do you guys use it?,

or maybe you can tell me a better product to use, that will also be appreciated.

later,

I have used the Z10 and you can put it on lightly but you will find yourself applying it to all the vinyl and plastic in the cars too. So you may consider that.

It is good smelling stuff and works great. Nice satin shine.

Z9 and Z10 go a long way. Just make sure to follow the directions for Z9. In a nutshell, spray plenty of Z9 on an area (maybe 5 good squirts or so) and agitate (or aggrevate) with a soft nylon brush. Then wipe with a cotton towel. Just to forewarn, be prepared to be disgusted by your filth.

Then apply Z10 liberally with an el-cheapo MF or cotton towel or rag. When you are done, just buff lightly with a dry towel. Then check out how much stuff you have left! If you have the same experience I have had, you will have plenty for another couple of good-sized vehicles.

Nothing wrong with Cyber's suggested use of a cloth to apply the Z10. I use my hands, however, in the great tradition of Hyde Food. I find that I use a LOT, however, and let it soak in. I also apply it to all the vinyl. My car has a lot of leather, so, when coupled with doing the vinyl, also, I get about two applications out of a bottle, particularly if the leather is "thirsty." But, in the long run, keeping the leather moisturized and supple saves money.

The Zaino leather conditioner is a fine product. Only real drawback is that it does leave the seats a bit slippery. So wipe it down a bit with a moist towel. Laters.

Love my Z10. Best stuff for leather and vinyl that I have used. One note: it does not come off on my legs when wearing shorts in hot weather. I have yet to see it come off on my wife's silk pants either :)
