yea...that's why I don't do burnouts when I replace the rear tire on my bike anymore...I hate peeling rubber off everything.

So what happened at the end? Something shot out of the fender?

when you push a tire past it's limits like that they explode

and if any part of it is still attached it the rim it will beat up the wheel wells preatty bad

think of it as a rubber whip going @ 6000 RPM

I have seen whole rear quater pannels crushed & pulled off

ya i bet the plant manage could get it fixed pretty reasonably. hell it might me a demo car, didn't cost him a nickel. wouldn't that be a cool world, Z06 demo. btw i love the color!

Here's some info regarding the Z06:

The Plant Manager was Wil Cooksey and the Z06 was apparently a demo car that had to be destroyed from 5 years of its build date. The burned rear fender was removed, autographed by Wil Cooksey and sold at auction for charity. Sure it's sad to see an amazing car like that go down like it did, but I think that's a much better way to have it go out than sitting on some showroom floor never driven until it's time to destroy it. The car could never be registered or driven on public roads, and I'm sure the engine and other parts of the car would be appropriately marked the same.
