Which sealant for Torch Red?

I am done with SSR2.5/1, PWC and now ready for the sealant but I don't know which one to use. I always used EX on my black truck but I have no idea which one to use on the new ride...EX or EXP..any help? Also, can I put it on by hand with a foam applicator? I just really dont feel like using the PC to apply it because this Mustang has a lot of curves which makes it hard to get it done very well.

EX or EXP by hand on a RED car? Thanks

I have probably $100 in Poorboys products to use and I'm going to use them until they are gone before I start feeding the sponsors pockets to get all new products. :rofl

EX or EXP on red? I'm basically sitting here waiting for a response so I can go back out to the garage to put the sealant on it so I can have it removed before I go to bed tonight that way I can start layering the Natty's on it!

With regards to Poorboy's, get some Natty's to top it with.

If not, just layer and layer the Natty's by itself.

I would go with EX if that's what you have. I used to have a red vehicle, and to me, EX looked a little "better" than EX in my honest opinion. Now, if you are going to top the sealant with a carnauba wax, I don't suppose it would matter that much. In my eyes, EX-P gives that "sealant" look, while EX has a little more "warmth" about it.

Hi Folks please just help the man out... (yes, I'm the one who cleaned up this thread)

Actually since he's planning on topping with Natty's Blue, I recommended to him that he use EX-P x2 wait a day and then top with the Natty's blue...this will give the red the glow of the sealant and the warmth of a carnauba:)

Any pics of the Mach 1? I have detailed a Mustang Bullitt several times and haven't had any problems applying a sealant to it. I could never master the thin layer of EX-P by hand so I resort to the PC which is awesome. Anyways, good luck with your new car!

Dude I wish I lived near you so I could learn how to get results the way you do! That red is perfect. If you are ever down in SC for any reason and have some spare time, I will pay you to come help me detail my ride. Unless you have a camera that hides imperfections, I have yet to see a car still have swirls that you have done! Is the trick in using a rotary? Please PM me with some tips on getting my car looking PERFECT! I"m going to wash my car tomorrow since it got covered in salt this weekend on my roadtrip to VA so I will take closeups of the paint and see if you can help me out at all.

I've witnessed GSRstilez's car in person, and it's a jaw dropper.

He's got plenty of game with his rotary, that's for sure!

Regarding my pictures...

I took the picture of my Integra just before dusk. The lighting was perfect for the shots. The picture is not touched; taken with a 3.2 MP Sony Mavica MVC-CD300 at max resolution, super fine, etc etc. I simply resized it once I put it on my machine.

The second picture was taken by me, but the work was done by Deanski (Dino).

I will have to agree that PwC, EX, Natty's(Blue) has been the "wettest" look I've had to date. I think you will agree :)

Ok, so when applying the sealant 2-3 times how long do you let it sit for until wiping it off & re-applying the next coat? Awesome job on the Integra.
