What to use after #83?

I'm planning on using a cutting pad pretty soon on my dark blue paint with some Meg's #83 to remove swirling on the entire car and some heavier swirling on the rear bumper. I was thinking about using FPII with a finishing pad to remove the swirling caused by my cutting pad, so my process would be:

#83 with orange cutting pad

FPII with finishing pad

Do I need to add anything?

I usually follow #83 with #80 on a polishing pad, purely because I only own Megs polishes. I'm sure FPII would be fine however. I would be tempted to suggest that a finishing pad might not be enough and you'd need to apply it with a polishing pad.

Wow, I'm still getting used to the fast responses on this site. I'll try it with a polishing pad, or maybe pick up some #80 and try that with a polishing pad.

#80 does have fillers.

#82 does not.

Ya, I always use #82 after DACP (#83). I really like Swirl Free polish 82 because I have found it to be sun friendly and really easy to work with. You don't need to use much and it always leaves a smooth, glassy finish ready for my sealant and/or wax.

SFP is probably the one product I use on almost all of my details.

I used to use #82 SFP after #83 until #80 Speed Glaze came out. I still like #82 but I think #80 has a wetter looking finish. Regardless, you can't go wrong with either.
