VW Black Jetta Detail

General Info

Another sweet spring day with nice sun and wind. Not hot at all, but tons of sun. (Thought I would post in the Main Street to see if there were any differences between the professional side)

Vehicle
Vehicle was a 2005 VW Black Jetta. First black car, and whew was it fun. Glad it was fresh paint however. VW paints for me seem very different, but satisfactory in the end. Car had maybe a few buffer burns, light swirls, and just needed a good wash/polish.

Process

Exterior
Wash – Mother’s Gold
Clay – None, I ran out! Ack
Polish – Scratch Out with Green Light Cut
Sealed with Poorboy’s EX
Dressing – VRT on various places

Result
I love Black paint! My assistant thought it was water, even more reason to get a black car. Polishing wasn’t too hard, but satisfactory. I couldn’t polish it the extra 10%, but the 90% came out very nicely. Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Enjoy. Feel free to suggest or comment on anything :D

Nice job! It looks like there is still some fallout hanging around, Clay for next time would probably be helpful. I absolutely love the transformation that black goes through when it's detailed.

I ran out of Clay =( The M3 I did yesterday was brutal! Might I ask how you saw from the pictures? Thanks!

Another excellent job! :bigups :bigups

Wow...... a red vehicle and a black vehicle back-to-back. You are a glutton for punishment! :D

I might have been thinking about the before pictures, there were some white spots. The after pics look beautiful.

Scratch Out.
