Viewing First Unread

For some reason this feature never works for me. Any tips?

It usually works for me as long as I never logout and leave my browser (Firefox) open. Once it's closed and I log back in then I'm starting over when I hit the "first unread". It works OK on other sites so I'm not sure what is different here.

I thought it stopped working after the last upgrade, and boy do I wish it worked.

Pages don't refresh in Opera either since the upgrade. So hard to get the bugs out on upgrades, hopefully David will eventually get the fixes in place.

Hmmm...I use IE and yes, it seems to work for threads that I have read this morning and gone back to, but if I go to a thread that I have looked at on another day, the "view first unread post" just takes me to the beginning of the thread. And yes, still seems to work (the way it used to) on other sites. I've given up using that button and after I go to "New Posts" I just click on the "last post" icon and scroll back up to the first one that looks unfamiliar (which is really a pain if it's been a while and it's a few pages back).
