Using P21S Paintwork Cleanser and wax for first time!-help

I am about to use P21S Paintwork Cleanser and I bought it in a kit with wax, cleanser and wheel cleaner. In the wax there is a grey sponge, should I use that to apply it? There is a square fabric cover sponge(not sure how else to describe it) should I apply the Cleanser with that? My car was built in Jan 03 so it is 3-4 months old and I was going to try this treatment. Any tips?? ALso, I have no micro fiber towels, the guy at carcare got me to go with 100% cotton flannel-good idea to polish with?
 
The grey sponge is perfect for applying P21S wax safely and easily. The square fabric sponge is probably a supplied MF appliction pad that can be used to apply the P21S GEPC. Apply per directions ( straight line movements and work into paint).

It is okay to use 100% USA high quality cotton towels, but get some MF's ASAP. You will be glad you did.
