Undercarriage Product???

Ok i have struggled with this for a few years now and i have not really found anything good that did not require a ton of crawling under the truck and scrubbing the undercarriage down. I would like to find a spray type product that would allow me to spray the undercarriage parts and then use a long handle brush to get it clean and hose it off. This is on my lifted truck so I am looking to get the front and rear diffs, driveshaft clean all the drop down bracketry etc.
So what have you guys got that will work?

Is your problem related more to finding a brush, or finding a degreaser (chemical)?

One thing that you probably would find to be a big help would be a pressure washer; without one you will definitely have to do more scrubbing.

I can't make any informed suggestions about products (from experience anyway), but I would think that a Megs Wheel brush on the telescoping pole from the wash mop would be able to reach just about everything down there. That and a spray down with some apc (applied with something that makes foam for clinginess) followed by a good scrubbing should work. Follow that with some spray sealant (DP or UPPS come to mind) and you should be good to go. I've heard of some freakishly anal (even for here) detailers putting the car on stands and scrubbing down the whole thing with kerosene and a toothbrush (show cars ONLY) and following with the wax they have on their paint, that might work.

I do have a pressure washer but it still does not remove that slight filmy haze from the road dirt. I also have a good telescoping pole and a few brushes that i got from West Marine (Boat Products) I just was trying to find a good chemical cleaner that may still require some light brush action but not alot which is what i currently have to do. Simple Green seems to work Ok but that stuff is so strong even when diluted in a 2-1/2 gallon bucket that i worry about it harming certain finishes. I kind of like the idea of a foaming product and I actually have a old Meg's Wheel cleaner bottle that has the foam option on the spray head so if there was a good chemical i could put in it that would be great. Yeah i know i am being kind of anal but this truck is in shows so i like the undercarriage to look good even though it is driven daily.

In my experience, brake cleaner is an expensive and quick way to get grease and grime from under cars.

i have a lifted show truck also and i use poorboys apc on it. mine only gets dusty so i dilute it 12 to 1. for heavier grime you could just use a stronger dilution ratio. also before shows i crawl under it and wipe everything down with pampers baby wipes. they really work well at cleaning and i find the pampers brand leaves no streaks behind.

i haven't tried them, but i'm thinking of trying the maxi suds and for the price of thier stuff i'm thinking of trying one their apc's also.

You'll like the MAXI SUDS it is a very nice soap.
